ProxyAI

Web Chat AI Chatbot

Put the assistant on your own website as a chat bubble, and decide exactly which domains are allowed to run it. It answers from your company profile and whatever documents you have given it, on the pages your customers already visit.

It only runs where you say it runs

The web channel takes a list of allowed domains, and only the sites on that list can load your bot. That is a spending control as much as a security one: a bot embedded on a site you do not own is a bot answering strangers on your credits. You can save the channel with the list empty while you are still setting up, and ProxyAI warns you when you do, because any website could then run it.

The parts visitors see

The chat button carries your own icon, PNG, JPEG or WebP up to 2MB, resized for you. Starter chips are the tappable suggestions shown before anyone types, and they are worth more thought than they look: they set the expectation for what the bot is for. Short and concrete works best, along the lines of Pricing, Track my order, or Contact support.

Web Chat questions we get asked

Do I need a developer to add it?
You paste one snippet into your site's HTML, the same way analytics or a font is added. On Shopify, WordPress and Wix there is an app or plugin that does it for you.
Can I run it on several sites?
Yes, the allowed-domains field takes a comma-separated list, so a staging site and a live site can share one bot.
What happens if I leave the domain list blank?
The bot will answer on any site that embeds it, spending your credits. ProxyAI warns you at save time; leave it blank only while testing.
