LINE AI Chatbot
Connect a LINE Official Account and let the assistant answer there. Setup is two values copied from LINE, a Channel ID and a Channel Secret, and ProxyAI handles the connection from that point on, including renewing it before it expires.
No token, and no renewal date to remember
LINE access tokens expire. Connecting LINE to most services means issuing one yourself and putting its expiry in your calendar, because the day it lapses the bot goes quiet with no warning. ProxyAI issues and renews it for you from the Channel ID and Secret, so there is no token to paste and no date to track.
Built for the way LINE is actually used
In Japan, Thailand and Taiwan a LINE Official Account is often the main way customers reach a business at all, closer to a phone number than to a social profile. The assistant answers there with the same knowledge it uses on your website, so the channel a customer happens to pick does not change the answer they get.
What connecting LINE involves
- Two Values, Nothing Else
- Create Your LINE Channel
- Webhook Status
- Test It
- If You Set This Up Before
LINE questions we get asked
- Where do the two values come from?
- The LINE Developers console, on the channel belonging to your Official Account. The dialog includes a walkthrough for creating one.
- What happens when the token expires?
- Nothing you need to act on, ProxyAI renews it ahead of time. That is the reason it asks for the secret rather than a token.
- Can it answer in Japanese or Thai?
- Yes. The assistant replies in the language the customer writes in, on every channel.
