ProxyAI

Use the Right Sign-In Method

The dashboard's Account panel shows your email and whether you signed in with email. Log out when using a shared device. On the login page, Remember me is enabled by default; clear it before signing in on a device you do not control.

Email signup requires full name, work email, password, password confirmation, and acceptance of the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Store Accounts Are Bound to the Store, Not to an Email

Installing the Shopify app or the WordPress plugin creates a ProxyAI account for that store. It is a real account, its own bot, credits, usage and inbox, but you reach it through the store, not with a password:

  • Shopify, open the app from your Shopify admin. The account belongs to the store itself, identified by Shopify's permanent id for it. The *.myshopify.com domain is only how we look it up, so changing the domain keeps the same account, the same bot and the same credits.
  • WordPress, open ProxyAI from your WordPress admin. The account is bound to the site address, and the dashboard authenticates on the site's own secret.

Neither one has a password, so there is nothing to reset. If you cannot get in, get into the store admin first.

The Address on a Store Account Does Not Sign You In

A store install records an email, the shop's contact address on Shopify, admin_email on WordPress, so we can send you alerts and show you who the account belongs to. It is not a credential.

Signing up on this website with that same address gets you an ordinary, separate account. That is deliberate, for two reasons:

  • Billing stays where the store is. A Shopify store's spending belongs in Shopify Billing. A second way into the same account would be a second till.
  • Nobody proved they hold the address. It is whatever the platform reported at install, which the merchant may not read and may not control.

So a store and a web signup are two accounts, even with one address between them. Credits and add-ons bought in one do not appear in the other.

Wix Works the Other Way Around

A Wix site attaches to a ProxyAI account rather than owning one. Connect from a bot you already have and the site joins the account you are signed into. Connect from nothing and ProxyAI makes an account for you, and that one stays linkable, sign up or use Google later with the same address and you reach it, rather than starting a second account.
